The Austrian business delegation held meetings with representatives of Turkmenistan's government bodies and private businesses at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat. The delegation also participated in the international conference “Construction, Industry, Energy of Turkmenistan 2024”.
In the city of Türkmenabat, a regional hub renowned for its textile, chemical, food, and construction industries, the Austrian delegation met local business representatives. These exchanges showcased Turkmenistan’s diverse product and service offerings while exploring promising avenues for future partnerships.
The mission was also marked by an extensive cultural program, such as a visit to the Darvaza Gas Crater, colloquially referred to as the “Door to Hell.” This natural wonder, a continuously burning crater in the desert, left a lasting impression on the delegation.
This visit once again helped to boost the cooperation between both countries and opened new business opportunities for the participating Austrian companies.
