The company AGROS Trading GmbH was founded in 2000 and specializes in the production and marketing of year-round wild bird feed and cat litter. AGROS produces private labels and also has several EU brands, such as Birds' Garden and Birds Best Selection for wild bird feed.
In 2004, Margit and Klaus Fuchshuber began researching and developing a plant-based cat litter with the clumping power of grains. In 2007, the brand GrainCat was introduced to the market as the first Europe-produced and patented clumping litter based on corn. In 2010, the range of organic cat litter was expanded with WaldStreu, a wood-based litter. In 2023, the marketing of the new compact clumping litter Bio-CATSIL, based on grains, began.
AGROS Trading GmbH is now an important provider of high-quality cat litter products made from various materials, with a focus on plant-based clumping litter made from different plant fibers.
