Franz Hauswirth GmbH products range from a wide variety of chocolate products to jelly confectionery. Hauswirth has been well-known in Europe for decades for its chocolate hollow figures (e.g., Easter bunnies, St Nicholas, Krampus) and chocolate bananas – both under the "Hauswirth" brand and as private labels.
The company was founded in 1949 as a family-run confectioner and was acquired by Landgarten GmbH in March 2025. The chocolate is produced in-house: Hauswirth is one of the few companies in Austria to produce its own dark and milk chocolate and use it to refine fruits, confectionery, jelly items and more.
