In front of over 100 invited guests from the ski and tourism industry, Martha Schultz spoke about transformation in tourism and presented successful examples of the digital, social and sustainable change in the Austrian tourism industry. The trip and the performance were organized by the Foreign Trade Center The Hague and the Austrian National Tourist Office.
The winter sports congress took place in the 'SnowWorld' in Zoetermeer, with perfectly groomed slopes and the steepest indoor ski slope in Europe. Despite the difficult economic conditions, the figures of the last winter season almost reached values, as in the peak winter season 18/19 in which over 1 million arrivals and 6.3 million overnight stays were generated from the Netherlands. Dutch guests are already in the starting blocks for their upcoming winter holidays. For a week now, tourism partners have been recording a steady increase in bookings to Austria.
