The new underground bicycle parking facility Stationsplein in Amsterdam was also visited. The world's only underwater parking garage for bicycles was opened in Amsterdam this year. There are now more than 11,000 underground parking spaces just for bikes at Central Station, which should help to further increase bicycle use and reduce bicycle parking in public spaces.
