The Christkindl from Steyr flies in for the Christmas reception in The Hague!

On December 12th, a traditional Christmas party took place at the Austrian residence in The Hague, organised by Ambassador Engelbert Theuermann and the Austria Team of the Austrian Embassy, the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber The Hague under the direction of Commercial Counsellor Michael Spalek and the Austrian National Tourist Office with director Michael Strasser.

Over 100 guests from business, politics and tourism accepted the invitation and made the evening an unforgettable experience.

The children of the Austrian ambassador opened the festive atmosphere with a musical Christmas concert, which was perfectly complemented by culinary highlights from Upper Austrian wine and beer as well as mulled wine.

To top it all off, all guests received real gingerbread as a little Christmas present. In the truest sense of the word, the real "Christkind" was flown in from Steyr and, together with top partners from Upper Austria, brought a festive atmosphere to The Hague.

It was a magical evening and the perfect way to get into the Christmas spirit.
