Each year, the Energy Globe Award honours outstanding sustainable projects in the field of environment and energy. Awards are given at national and international level in the categories Earth, Fire, Water, Air and Youth. With more than 180 participating countries, the prize is currently the world's leading environmental award.
Any project that contributes to improving the environmental situation in a country has a chance to win the ENERGY GLOBE Award. These could be projects aimed at conserving natural resources, improving air and water quality, increasing energy efficiency, promoting the use of renewable energy or initiatives to raise public awareness of these issues.
