On 20 and 21 May, the Amsterdam RAI Convention Centre welcomed more than 12,000 exhibitors, including nearly 50 national and regional pavilions. The event attracted more than 19,000 trade visitors from more than 120 countries.
As always, PLMA's international trade fair "World of Private Label" was the meeting place for retailers, buyers and other professionals. They came to see what the exhibiting companies had to offer. No easy feat given the huge space and the large number of food and non-food exhibitors, which was 10% higher than last year.
The trend towards private brands and private labels continues unabated. Therefore, 62 Austrian exhibitors also took the opportunity to present their products in Amsterdam and were represented in three halls: the Food, Dairy and Non-Food Hall.
Among this year's product trends at PLMA were innovative beverages, halal and kosher products, protein products and sustainable products.
