Governor Thomas Stelzer and his delegation started their first day after arriving in the Netherlands with a sightseeing tour of the port of Rotterdam, visiting the LNG terminals and the container port. Afterwards, one could admire the impressive Maasvlakte from a tour boat.
A visit to the government city of The Hague could not be skipped. The group visited EUROPOL and the Binnenhof, where they were welcomed to the Ministry of Interior and Royal Relations. The day ended with a ReFocus-Austria reception at the Austrian residence of Ambassador Astrid Harz.
The next day, the delegation met the King's Commissioner for North Holland Mr Arthur Th.H. van Dijk. The next appointment on the agenda was a visit to the University of Amsterdam and the interesting Amsterdam Science Park, after which the company headed towards Schiphol Airport for the return flight to Austria.
