On Saturday 22 February, the only Dutch Wiener Ball took place at Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin. Again this year, there was an expansion in the number of ball guests. After the flag ceremony with the folkmen of Austria, the Netherlands and Europe, 72 debutantes opened the ball.
Vienna's Ensemble Johan Strauss alternated with the Marines' dance orchestra ensured that there was sway on the dance floor until 3 AM. After singing "Brüderlein fein", the party continued in the disco in the basement.
