Lightweight heavyweights in Sweden – A study trip to Gothenburg

Building upon the LIGHTer International Conference, Advantage Austria Stockholm, together with the Upper Austrian Economic Chamber and Business Upper Austria, organised a study trip to Gothenburg at the beginning of April.

A group of 20 representatives of Austrian businesses, research institutes and organisations was inspired by state-of-the-art presentations and guided tours with a focus on lightweight technologies. High-profile companies such as Volvo Group, CEVT and GKN introduced their sustainable lightweight innovation concepts. A networking dinner with Scania and the Department of Material Science of Gothenburg’s renowned Chalmers University complemented the itinerary
