On June 4, 2025, the National Job and Career Fair 2025 will take place in Pristina, offering job seekers, students, and professionals a unique opportunity to connect with trusted employers, renowned companies, and educational institutions, including those from Austria.

The National Job and Career Fair 2025 seeks to:

connect job seekers with the most renowned employers in Kosovo and the region,
provide new career opportunities for young people and professionals from various industries,
create an interactive environment for networking and direct recruitment,
organize trainings and workshops to develop participants' professional skills,
promote strategic sectors with high employment demand in Kosovo.

Austria will be represented by five well-known companies from diverse industries, along with the Austrian Business Agency (ABA), seeking qualified professionals in various fields.

The event is organized by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, in cooperation with the Employment Agency of the Republic of Kosovo, the University of Pristina, and the German Chamber of Commerce. The technical organization of the fair will be managed by Modus.

The event is part of Austria’s International Recruiting Initiative (IFO), developed by the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber (WKO). Through targeted measures in specific focal countries outside of the EU, it seeks to address Austria’s skilled labour shortage. These strategic efforts facilitate and expand the recruitment of qualified professionals from the shortage occupation list, making them accessible to member companies.
