Pharmacies have rotating Sunday and evening opening hours, with closed pharmacies displaying the contact details of the nearest open pharmacy.

Health Insurance
Citizens insured in the EEA (EU, Iceland, Lichtenstein and Norway) and Switzerland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Serbia, Montenegro and Turkey can receive the same emergency medical treatment as citizens insured in Austria. This is dependent on a holiday health insurance certificate issued before arrival in Austria.
