In a groundbreaking development for sustainability innovation, Austria emerges as a frontrunner alongside the Nordic countries, setting new standards and inspiring a global movement toward a brighter, greener future. 

Austria's impressive performance in sustainability innovation is particularly notable for its advancements in resource productivity, reduction in air emissions, and progress in environment-related technologies. This achievement reflects Austria's commitment to integrating innovative solutions to effectively address environmental challenges.  

Meanwhile, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, and Norway, famous for their strong environmental policies and eco-friendly practices, continue to lead the way in sustainability innovation. With their emphasis on renewable energy, circular economy initiatives, and investments in green technology, these Nordic countries rank among the top performers in innovation metrics, achieving innovation index of: Denmark 137,6%, Sweden 134.5%, Finland 134.3%, and Norway 119.4% respectively.
