They took advantage of the unique opportunity to see for themselves the groundbreaking hydrogen trends in Japan - the pioneering nation when it comes to H2. Kawasaki's liquid hydrogen terminal at the Port of Kobe - where hydrogen from Australia is already being successfully imported and unloaded - and Panasonic's hydrogen fuel cell factory are just two examples of stops on this horizon-expanding journey across Japan.

Leading companies such as Horiba and Toyota Industries were also part of the program. The fourteen participants learned about the current state of the technology and took home ideas and suggestions for future initiatives in Austria. The conclusion of the participants was clear - Japan is confidently going its own way with hydrogen.
