Under the official Expo theme “Designing Future Society for Our Lives”, the Austrian Pavilion embraced its own motto, “Composing the Future.” Guided by this idea, Austria presented creative solutions and inspiring concepts for a sustainable and prosperous tomorrow—bringing together nature, tradition, and innovation at Expo 2025 Osaka.
From day one, our spectacular wooden spiral – designed like a giant musical ribbon – turned heads and became a favorite photo spot. Every day, visitors enjoyed a lively program full of cultural highlights, exciting talks, and delicious Austrian food.
We were honored to host many special moments, including Austria’s Nation Day on 23 May 2025. Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen, Minister of Economic Affairs Wolfgang Hattmannsdorfer, Michael Otter from ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA, and Japan’s Crown Princess Kiko joined us for this celebration. The most unforgettable moment? A magical performance by the Vienna Boys’ Choir, accompanied by Mozart’s original violin.
Of course, there were countless other events and encounters that made the Austrian Pavilion such a unique place. To keep these memories alive, we’ve collected materials and impressions for you here – so you can relive the experience anytime.
