The official delegation was accompanied by over 25 Austrian business representatives. During the visit, meetings were held with Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as representatives of government authorities.
The parties discussed:
- the development of trade and economic cooperation,
- investment and energy,
- security and migration issues,
- the expansion of bilateral partnership between Kazakhstan and Austria.
Kazakhstan remains Austria’s key partner in Central Asia, and the visit reaffirmed the mutual interest in further strengthening political and economic cooperation.
During the official evening reception, ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Almaty presented the prestigious Silk Road Biz Award for the best business projects of Austrian companies in Central Asia.
This year, AME International GmbH was honored with the award for its contribution to the development of modern healthcare solutions in Tajikistan and the strengthening of international cooperation.
