In Ashgabat, the Austrian delegation held meetings with representatives of Turkmenistan’s government authorities and the private sector at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Turkmenistan.
The delegation also participated in a networking event attended by approximately 80 participants, including representatives of the Government of Turkmenistan, local industry, and Austrian companies. The event provided an excellent opportunity for exchanging ideas and strengthening professional relationships.
As part of the mission, the 13th session of the Joint Commission between the Republic of Austria and Turkmenistan, as well as a large-scale business forum, were successfully concluded. The focus was placed on tangible projects and investment opportunities. Plans are underway to establish joint ventures in the agricultural, industrial, and energy sectors. Austrian companies are eager to introduce green technologies and digital solutions in Turkmenistan.
European businesses are increasingly viewing Turkmenistan as a strategic partner in Central Asia. This visit further contributed to strengthening bilateral cooperation and opened up new business opportunities for the participating Austrian companies.
