Export Prize 2026: Accolades, acknowledgement and appreciation for exporters from Austria 

We live in interesting times, with the geopolitical challenges that threaten to upset the applecart on the markets at any moment making predictions difficult. There are nonetheless courageous and innovative companies that have set out to face the world and offer their products and services on a global scale, and these are strengthening Austria’s international relationships as reliable business partners.

Remembering your roots when times get tough – this year’s Export Prize-giving was held where many Austrian firms took their first faltering steps towards export excellence, with a ceremony at ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA’s home base in Vienna to award a gold, silver and bronze Export Prize in each of six categories.

The jury was made up of recognized experts from the worlds of commerce, politics and the media. In addition to the firms’ success stories and KPIs, the judges took into account factors such as their innovations, extraordinary ideas and creative marketing strategies. The companies’ dedication and success on overseas markets was assessed along with the resulting international value created.

There were once again two special prizes up for grabs this year; the “Born Global Champions” title recognises startups that are active on international market at an early stage, exhibiting speedy growth and outstanding ingenuity.

The “Global Player Award” was presented to an Austrian firm that has achieved a commanding position on the global market, developed an efficient foreign network or established itself as an export pioneer.
