In cooperation with the Security and Economy Working Group of the Austrian Chamber of Commerce, ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA was also present with a booth for Austrian companies active in this sector, as the Netherlands is investing heavily in the security and defence sector: an additional EUR 5 billion is planned in the 2023 budget, representing a 40% increase in the defence budget.

More than 170 exhibitors from 20 different countries had already had the opportunity to network during a matchmaking event the day before, after which the day ended with a reception.

Around 3,500 interested visitors and (high-level) representatives of security authorities, companies and institutions found their way to the fair to establish business contacts with, among others, the Austrian companies Commend International GmbH, CONTAINEX Container-Handels-GmbH, pewag Austria GmbH, RHP Technology GmbH, Schiebel Aircraft GmbH and Service Technologies GmbH, which presented at the ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA stand.
