All spring, Austria is known for its ball culture. This is in contrast to the Netherlands, where a ball is by no means part of the culture and a ball is actually seen as a unique affair. The Viennese Ball in the Netherlands is one of the few balls held here and is among one of the finest Viennese Balls in Europe. It is therefore seen as an event to connect with contacts and broaden your network. Everyone is welcome! Next year will be the 55th edition and is therefore an anniversary year.
The Viennese Ball is the business event for companies with an Austrian origin or an interest in the Austrian market. Here, Dutch and Austrian entrepreneurs can come together and expand their network. It offers the chance to get acquainted or deepen relations in an atmospheric setting. The Viennese Ball in the Netherlands is accredited by the city of Vienna and plays an important role in the Netherlands in preserving Austrian culture and its traditions.

Besides the unique opportunity to join this network, the ball is also known for its atmosphere. The evening starts with a networking reception in the Foyer of Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin accompanied by the Dutch Hunting Horn Players. This is followed by an extensive 3-course dinner in the Keizerzaal where you can enjoy exceptional dishes at a table of 10. After this, the evening continues in the ballroom where you and your company will have a lodge table on the dance floor. The debutantes will perform the opening dance after which the dance floor will be officially opened by the chairman and vice-chairman. The uniqueness of the evening is the casual atmosphere and being able to interact with other ball guests in an approachable way. During the evening, attention is also drawn to a good cause. The Wiener Ball Nederland, for instance, supports a different charity every year. Last year, this was Stichting Inloophuis Scarabee in Leiden, for which 5,220 Euro was raised. During the ball, you can enjoy local Austrian wines, the Wiener Cafe with Austrian delicacies and matching ball music as well as live music in other halls. Of course, the kaiserschmarren and sausage are not missing. An evening of networking opportunities and entertainment that will end at 2.30 a.m. with Brüderlein Fein.
In addition to networking, the Wiener Ball also offers sponsorship opportunities to draw attention to your company. For example, you can have your company placed in the ball booklet with its logo or place an advertisement in the ball booklet. Each ball guest receives the booklet upon entry. In addition, your logo can be placed on the website. You can register via our website with a table of ten guests or you can register at one of our tables including the Austrian table. Here you will then be placed with like-minded people from Advantage Austria's network. At www.wienerball.nl you can look at sponsorship opportunities and tables or send an email to info@wienerball.nl.
The Foundation for Austrian Culture in the Netherlands therefore cordially invites you to the 55th Wiener Ball on 3 February 2024 at Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin.
