COMEX 2022 Technology Show | 23-24 May 2022 in OMAN
The 31st edition of COMEX - Oman's Information Technology & Communications Exhibition, Conference, and Awards is held under the patronage of the Ministry of Transport, Communication & Information Technology, Oman Vision 2040, and with the Partnership of Oman Information Technology Society (OITS) & Oman Society for Petroleum Services (OPAL) among others and will be taking place from 23 – 24 May at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre - OCEC in Muscat.
The full event dimensions are as follows:
• COMEX Exhibition will include Government Participation in the COMEX Govt Pavilion, ICT & Telco, Enterprise Level Participation at COMEX Business Pavilion, Fintech Pavilion in cooperation with Central Bank of Oman, COMEX Tech Ventures Pavilion for 150 ICT SMEs from GCC and Oman, COMEX Consumer Tech & Smart Shoppers Pavilion.
• COMEX 2nd International Conference on Artificial Intelligence – AI (500 Face2Face, 500 Online) • 2nd COMEX AWARDS for Excellence in Technology - For Private & Government Sector Omani Companies for Invention, Innovation, and Implementation of Technology that has made a difference to Oman or their Companies.
• COMEX School X - Children from all Schools of Oman (International, Private & Government) will share their experience about how they embraced technology during the pandemic through YouTube/Facebook Live and recorded videos that go on the COMEX YouTube Channel. A special area for showcasing COMEX Schools STEM – Science, Technology, Engineering & Math’s Innovations will be arranged.
• COMEX Banking Tech & Fintech Seminars 2nd COMEX Fintech Seminars will be organized in cooperation with the Central Bank of Oman (CBO) with the participation of exhibitors & speakers representing local banks, local and international fintech companies.
• COMEX ICT Training for Youth (Workshop); Workshops will be organized with the support of MTCIT throughout the event, expert facilitators to connect them to Omani youth in the workshop that impacts critical ICT project deliverables and train the participants to engage in discussions while opportunities within the industry and government.
