The 13th edition of the international event for homeland security and civil defense fair MILIPOL Qatar 2021 took place in Doha from March 15 to March 17. Advantage Austria,
The Foreign Trade Center in Doha organized an Austrian stand at MILIPOL for the first time. Seven companies took the opportunity to participate in the Austrian Showcase through personal travel or in the form of virtual B2Bs.
With an impressive outcome of this participation, Rosenbauer, one of the leading Austrian companies, achieved success by signing a contract with the Ministry of Interior to import 77 firefighting vehicles for the FIFA 2022 World cup Qatar.
MILIPOL was the first trade fair to take place in Qatar after a year of a forced break due to Covid19, which gave a chance to international exhibitors and company representatives to enter Qatar through special entry permits and, of course, in compliance with the Ministry of Public Health requirements that restrict their movements between the hotel and at the exhibition center.
