Rekindling the business of Austrian companies in the region is a major task, given the constraints of the Covid-pandemic and its impact on customer demand and cross-border travel. “With adapted formats and additional platforms, we are helping Austrian companies to stay engaged with their partners and establish local alliances in market segments which have been weathering the crisis better than others”, says Mr Glatz. “In the coming months, our teams in Stockholm, Oslo and Helsinki will focus on promoting Austria’s expertise in infrastructure and mobility, in green technologies and innovative health applications”.
New head of ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Stockholm
After a two-decade long occupation with Asia, as Trade Commissioner in Hong Kong, Regional Director Asia Pacific at ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA in Vienna, and Commercial Counsellor at the Austrian Embassy in Tokyo and Beijing, Martin Glatz assumed his new position as head of ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Stockholm and Commercial Counsellor for Sweden, Norway and Finland at the end of August 2020.
