More than 300 decision-makers, entrepreneurs and experts from Austria as well as Central, Eastern and Southeastern Europe met in Bratislava to discuss key future topics shaping the region. The focus was on competitiveness, industrial transformation and concrete market opportunities across CESEE. Panels and keynotes provided valuable insights, but above all created space for meaningful exchange and new connections.
Once again, it became clear that personal interaction is irreplaceable. “In an increasingly digital world, direct dialogue remains a critical driver of successful collaboration” emphasized Vladimír Slezák, Vice President of the Slovenská obchodná a priemyselná komora and CEO of Siemens s.r.o.
The Vice-President of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber/Wirtschaftskammer Österreich, Andreas Herz, underlined the region’s central role as a key economic hub for cross-border cooperation between Austria and Slovakia. Deputy Secretary-General Eva Liebmann highlighted the importance of AUSTRIA CONNECT CESEE in fostering networking and facilitating the exchange of experiences across Central, Eastern and South Eastern Europe.
For many companies the tangible value lies in the people of our region and the building of new connections to partners from Austria. “This forms an important foundation for further strengthening product quality in the Slovak market” highlighted Zuzana Vinklerová, Member of the Management Board of dm drogerie markt Slovensko.
Martha Suda, Austrian Commercial Counsellor and Head of ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Bosnia and Herzegovina, guided through the day as moderator. Besides being a wonderful host, we valued her great expertise and knowledge about the region.
