The Austrian Business Circle, hosted by ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Slovakia, focused on concrete market potential, legal developments, and cooperation prospects for companies on both countries.

Michal Brichta, Director of the Slovak Space Office (Industry Branch SARIO), opened the event with an in-depth overview of Slovakia’s expanding space ecosystem. He emphasized that this is an excellent time for companies to engage in the Slovak space industry and to export new business opportunities.

During an expert discussion, Michaela Stessl (DLA Piper) and Kai-Uwe Schrogl (ESA) analysed Slovakia’s new legal framework for space activities from a European perspective. Their insights provided entrepreneurs with valuable clarity regarding regulatory requirements, investment conditions, and future market stability.

Innovative companies from Austria and Slovakia – including M2M Solutions, TTTech Computertechnik, and CTRL – presented real-world projects that demonstrated how space technologies can generate economic value. Their contributions clearly illustrated that space is not only a field of innovation but an essential part of many companies’ long term strategic development.

Die event clearly showed that Austrian and Slovak companies can benefit significantly from closer collaboration in the space sector. The growing Slovak market, combined with Austria’s strong industrial base, creates ideal conditions for new business initiatives and long-term partnerships.
