From May 15-17, 2023, ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Istanbul, together with ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Tbilisi and Baku, organized a trade mission to the Caucasus region. 10 Austrian companies have traveled to Georgia and Azerbaijan to meet key decision-makers and to establish new contacts with business partners. The trade mission primarily focused on the field of "Construction and Infrastructure", but was also open to companies from other sectors. Within the framework of this trade mission to Georgia and Azerbaijan, the Austrian delegation learned about new opportunities for business cooperation and met high-ranking Georgian and Azerbaijani representatives from politics and business. Besides official company visits, more than 100 B2B talks between Austrian and Georgian / Azerbaijani businessmen and -women took place. In both countries the program also contained a “Austrian Business Circle” networking event.
