SERVICES:
Austrian business support and promotion on foreign markets is provided through the activities of ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA - the Commercial Departments at the Embassies and Consulates, which are the representatives of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber, operating in 70 countries. The Commercial Department of the Austrian Consulate General in Istanbul is responsible for Turkey, Azerbaijan and Georgia. The Commercial Office Baku has been established in 2004 in an effort to expand commercial and economic relations between Azerbaijan and Austria.

Functions of the Commercial Office Baku:

• information for Azerbaijanian companies about possibilities for business cooperation with Austrian partners
• support in setting up of business contacts between Austrian and Azerbaijanian companies
• support to start business in Azerbaijan (e.g. opening of representation offices of Austrian companies, registration and certification of goods, imported from Austria, customs clearance of such goods)
• assistance for Austrian business visits to Azerbaijan and Azerbaijanian business visits to Austria
• organization of Trade Missions to Azerbaijan
• participation in trade fairs in Azerbaijan
