Noita Winery, a winery in the village of Fiskars not far from the Finnish capital, imports handpicked organic grapes from Burgenland, Austria.

When the grapes arrive, they are respected as much as the organic farmers respect them. With as few changes as possible, the grapes are sorted, crushed, macerated and pressed. They are allowed to spontaneously ferment with their own original yeasts. Sulfur is used as little as possible or not at all, and full list of ingredients, process and grape origin is given on the bottle label. The products are also not chopped or filtered.

Sustainable production methods, resource-saving handling and the recycling and further use of the grapes speak for the Finnish company. In total, the Austrian organic grapes are used three times - for wine production, for the production of beer by the sister company Fiskars Brewery and finally for the distillation of the "Grape Pomace Moonshine". The wine selection from past vintages includes the varieties Riesling, Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Pinot Blanc, as well as mixed sets with creative names such as Flux Lumen (Chardonnay, Grüner Veltliner and Furmit) or Space Echo (Blaufränkisch, Zweigelt).

Austria's wine culture and the innovative spirit of the Finns are a promising combination! Cheers - or Kippis as we say in Finland!
