Overall, the results for Georgia show that 2024 was an stable year, but that companies expressed concerns about 2025. While almost 9 in 10 of participants say that the economic climate in Georgia has either improved or remained stable in 2024, more than half of the participants believe that the economic climate will worsen in 2025.
A number of companies are concerned about the availability of a qualified labour force, Quality of local suppliers and Political stability in Georgia, coupled with geopolitical risks in a Russia-Ukraine war and decoupling between East and West. Some standout points for Georgia seem to be that digitalisation is seen as a very positive factor, the public procurement processes and low employment are highly valued and AI will have a strong impact on businesses in Georgia in 2025.
