The Wall Street Journal reported this month that Polymum, a small medical technologies firm from Klosterneuberg in Lower Austria, was a key player in the development of the Pfizer vaccine. Polymum manufactures lipid nanoparticles, tiny but essential ingredients for the delivery of vaccines. Despite being a relatively small firm with only 90 employees, Polymun has proven it's worth on the world stage with the pharmaceutical giant.
