Nagaland - Emerging growth Region in the Northeast
The delegation was led by Mr. Hans-Jörg Hörtnagl, Austrian Trade Commissioner and Commercial Counsellor, and comprised senior representatives from leading Austrian and Austria-linked companies across diverse sectors.
Participating organizations included Doppelmayr, the global market leader in ropeway systems and high-tech intralogistics solutions; Bauer Group, renowned for its high-quality, durable, and sustainable irrigation and slurry machinery; Confluence Valley Flavours Pvt. Ltd. (formerly Akras Flavours), a manufacturer of premium flavour and fragrance solutions; and Fronius, a global technology leader specializing in perfect welding, solar energy solutions, and advanced charging technologies.
This visit underscored Austria’s growing interest in Northeast India as an emerging growth region and reinforced the shared vision of fostering innovation-driven, sustainable economic cooperation between Austria and India.
