Korean Delegation Visits Interalpin 2025 in Innsbruck

From May 5th to 8th, 2025, a South Korean delegation visited the Interalpin 2025, the world's leading trade fair for alpine technologies, held in Innsbruck, Austria. The delegation consisting of 11 persons was organized by ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Seoul and included representatives from various South Korean ski resorts and experts from the Korea Transportation Safety Authority. The delegation's visit aimed to explore the latest innovations in alpine technologies and establish valuable connections with Austrian winter sports companies. The visit provided an excellent platform for B2B networking at the Tyrol Chamber of Commerce and the trade fair itself, where participants could engage with industry leaders and discover cutting-edge solutions in ropeway technology, snow management, and safety systems.

One of the highlights of the visit was an excursion to the Hintertux Glacier, organized in collaboration with Doppelmayr Seilbahnen, a world leader in ropeway engineering. At an altitude of over 3,200 meters, the South Korean guests experienced the ropeway operations firsthand, witnessing the seamless integration of advanced technology and breathtaking alpine scenery. The program also included a visit to Doppelmayr's production facility in Wolfurt, where the delegation observed the manufacturing processes of various ropeway systems. Doppelmayr, headquartered in Wolfurt, Austria, is renowned for its innovative solutions in ropeway construction and urban mobility.

The South Korean delegation's visit to Interalpin 2025 not only fostered international collaboration but also highlighted the importance of technological innovation in enhancing the winter sports experience.
