On 19 March 2023, in the DDP, Seoul, visitors to a fully packed Hall 2 witnessed a collection that was unsurpassed in beauty and sophistication, inspired by "the Kiss" by Gustav Klimt. This project, which was accompanied by ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Seoul, was based on a Memorandum of Understanding between Lie Sang Bong and the Belvedere museum.

A DIGITAL DECLARATION OF LOVE: NFTs of The Kiss by Gustav Klimt
Gustav Klimt's “The Kiss” was unveiled as a unique NFT project on Valentine's Day 2022. A high-resolution digital copy of the famous painting was divided into a 100 × 100 grid, resulting in 10,000 inimitable individual pieces offered as non-fungible tokens (NFTs). With this project, the Belvedere takes its first step into the Metaverse and emphasizes its aspiration to become one of the most prestigious cultural institutions in the digital world.
A special treat for selected NFT holders: they can exclusively purchase a fashion item with their NFT, designed by Lie Sang Bong.

At a press conference on 20 March 2023 after the presentation at the Seoul Fashion Week, the Belvedere museum and Lie Sang Bong signed another MoU in front of several press representatives. It was thus agreed that the fashion collection shall be presented on 5 September 2023 in Vienna on the occasion of the fundraising dinner of the Belvedere at the Belvedere Gardens. In this context, further fashion pieces may also be created in connection with the NFT project of the Belvedere.
