The Austrian region of the Salzkammergut is the European Capital of Culture in 2024. It is renowned worldwide for the beauty of its landscape and the diversity of its culture, but the many companies that have made it their home have also garnered a global reputation.
Having put down deep roots in the region, they now lead the technological field as global players in their sector – not least because they are both creative and prepared to take on new challenges, and are striving to make their mark on the future.
The “Culture meets Internationalisation and Innovation” video project has turned the camera on a few of these firms, with 14 companies from the Salzkammergut introducing themselves and discussing what they like most about the region.
