The agreement of cooperation on a number of strategic and topical issues has been concluded between the Ukrainian Association of Secondary Metals (UAVtormet) and Dobrowa Metalltechnik GmbH (Austria) with the full support of the Federal Chamber of Economics of Austria.
The main provisions of this Agreement are the cooperation of the Parties in the exchange of practical experience and experience in order to study and implement in Ukraine innovative technologies for processing and disposal of scrap ferrous and nonferrous metals formed as a result of disposal of military equipment.
The Agreement also provides for the exchange of experience in effective management of processes for recycling and sale of ferrous and non-ferrous scrap, as well as ways to increase foreign economic activity of procurement and processing industries, assistance in attracting investment, establishing partnerships with business circles and creating favourable conditions for implementation of relevant and cost-effective projects in these areas.
These issues are relevant and important for the economy of Ukraine during martial law and will be important drivers of restoring industrial potential in the post-war period. Cooperation of the Parties within the framework of activities at the sites of authorized executive bodies (first of all, the Ministry of Strategic Industries, the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Environment and the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine) will implement the main provisions of the Agreement in the near future.
