INTERALPIN 2023: Record-breaking Central Asian business delegation visited Innsbruck, Austria

From 17-22 April 2023 a record-breaking business delegation consisting of 35+ key representatives and decision-makers from leading Central Asian mountain resorts and government representatives visited the world’s leading exhibition in the alpine technologies sector.

ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Almaty designed a unique program for the incoming delegation participants which included an interactive city tour through Innsbruck, tailor-made B2B-meetings with leading Austrian alpine technology providers at the Tyrolean Chamber of Commerce and a VIP visit of the INTERALPIN 2023 exhibition.

The program was rounded off with a visit of the world-famous ski resort Stubaier Gletscher. The delegation participants had the opportunity to meet company representatives from AXESS AG, SKIDATA, Leitner Ropeways, Sunkid, DemacLenko, Technoalpin, etc. and to directly inspect their technology solutions implemented at Stubaier Gletscher ski resort.

Alpine technology solutions “Made in Austria” are very popular among Central Asian mountain resorts and the lively interest in the INTERALPIN 2023 exhibition once again underlined the close partnership between Austrian manufacturers/suppliers and Central Asian mountain resorts.

Participants from Kazakhstan were Shymbulak, Oi-Qaragai Lesnaya Skazka and Park Kok-Tobe. From Uzbekistan representatives from Amirsoy Mountain Resort, Chimgan-Beldersay-Nanay and the Ministry of Tourism and Culture visited Innsbruck. Participants from Kyrgyzstan were the Tourism Development Fund and Ski Resort Jyrgalan. During the exhibition new contracts and agreements for further development cooperation were signed between Austrian technology providers and Central Asian mountain resorts.
