AUSTRIA CONNECT China 2023

 This year’s AUSTRIA CONNECT China will be held from 19 – 21 October 2023 in Chengdu. The conference motto “Shifting Tides – Dealing with the New Era of Business in China” refers to the new stage that China and its economy entered in its first post-COVID year. Against this backdrop, the resumption of travel and the reboot of the Chinese economy but also overall topics such as decoupling, localization, and the politicization of business are pressing issues that our panels will shed light on.

Programme

An intensive conference program and the exchange with representatives of Austrian businesses in China are at the core of AUSTRIA CONNECT China 2023. Expert presentations and panel discussions will focus on challenges and new opportunities this new era will entail for Austrian companies and their business with China. The highlights of the conference’s social program include a Welcome Reception on 19 October, a gala dinner on 20 October and visits in the surrounding area of Chengdu (tbd).

• EUR 600,- / RMB 4.400,- per person (of a non-member company; billed via separate payment notice)
