Target Audience: Key stakeholders from Hong Kong and Austria for the life science sector, 20 – 30 people altogether
Hong Kong is one of the world’s most powerful financial centres and a gateway to China, especially the neighbouring Greater Bay Area and to all of Asia. Hong Kong would like to offer Austrian life science companies a hand to reach Asia via Hong Kong and to tap into local funding opportunities.
With nearly 1,000 companies active in biotechnology, pharma or the medical devices business, life sciences are an important and constantly growing part of the Austrian economy. Austria is also proving to be an attractive location for operations and significant inward investment for a number of multinational companies.
In order to prepare for personal exchanges when travelling is possible again between Europe and Asia, AUSSENWIRTSCHAFT AUSTRIA, Invest HK together with Life Science Austria would like to invite you to join a virtual “Life Science Exchange”. The goal of this virtual meeting (via zoom) between a selected small number of participants is to enable some first connections between organizations and companies in this field. As a follow-up, AUSSENWIRTSCHAFT AUSTRIA and Invest HK will work individually with participants to inform and guide them towards opportunities.
