China Housing Expo 2024
With China’s ambitious goal of becoming CO2 neutral in 2060 and the building sector still being one of the biggest energy consumers and CO2 emitters, there is an enormous potential to upgrade the energy efficiency of existing buildings and use more sustainable constructions methods in the future. Austrian know-how and technologies in the field of green building are recognized worldwide - from wooden constructions, prefabricated components, sustainable building materials to passive houses. Providing ample opportunities for collaboration to make the building sector in China greener.
Therefore, Advantage Austria Beijing is organizing a catalogue exhibition at this year’s China International Exposition of Housing Industry & Products and Equipments of Building Industrialization (CIEHP), which will take place in Beijing from 27th to 29th June 2024.
The fair is jointly organized by the Development Center for Science, Technology and Industrialization of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Chinese Real Estate Association, and the Chinese Architecture & Culture Center.
The urbanization and increased environmental awareness of the Chinese population have led to a growing trend towards ecological construction methods in China. The goal of the China Housing Expo is to modernize the Chinese construction sector and to promote sustainable development. It provides a platform for ecological solutions and technologies in the areas of timber construction, passive houses, prefabricated buildings, urban planning, real estate development, and more.
