In recent decades, Austrian children's books have become very popular in China. More than a hundred works by Austrian children's authors have been translated and published in Chinese, including works by Christine Nöstlinger, Heinz Janisch, Wolf Harranth, Mira Lobe, Felix Salten, Stefan Karch and Thomas Brezina, to name but a few.

From 17-19 November 2023, ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Shanghai will present 5 Austrian publishers / cultural institutions / stationery companies at the "CCBF - China Shanghai International Children's Book Fair 2023".
