Green Building Trade Mission 2026
As China’s capital, Beijing is a key hub of the national construction industry, home to leading architectural firms, construction companies, state-owned developers, and major building material suppliers. It also hosts China’s first innovation center for sustainable construction—the National Center of Technology Innovation for Green and Low-Carbon Building (NCTIGB). We will hold a focused information and technical exchange with NCTIGB, joined by top Chinese construction researchers and industry representatives. Afterwards, the delegation will visit a flagship timber construction demonstration project in Beijing’s Yanqing District.
The second stop will be Wuxi, Jiangsu Province. As one of China’s wealthiest and most advanced cities in terms of urban development, Wuxi is actively promoting timber construction in alignment with the country’s low‑carbon and sustainable development strategies. Under the leadership of the Wuxi Urban Construction Development Group, several large-scale timber construction projects have been completed, including the Wuxi Taihu Square Eco-Park. During the visit, participants will exchange views with the Wuxi Urban Construction Development Group and will also have the opportunity to present their technologies and products.
In Nantong, the delegation will visit Nantong Jiazhu Construction Technology Co. Ltd., an important player in China’s timber construction industry. The company specializes in the design, production, processing, and project implementation of timber structures, providing valuable insights into industry practices and potential cooperation models.
