Eco Expo Asia 2021: Austrian Sustainable Timber Building Expertise to be shared and Eco-Friendly Water Tech to be presented
Austrian business would like to make Hong Kong and Asian greener! The Eco Expo Asia 2021 conference in Hong Kong under the theme “Promoting Green Recovery for Carbon Neutrality”’ will take place from 27 – 30 October at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre, the online show will run until 6 November.
CREE - Sustainable Timber Hybrid Buildings:
Ms. Elif İstanbulluoğlu from the Austrian company CREE by Rhomberg will share in the October 27 conference programme the European experience in the use of timber hybrid in large-scale building projects. CREE is an international technology and consultancy firm which is dedicated to sustainable and healthy buildings using prefabricated timber-based components. Their unique hybrid approach revolutionizes the construction industry. Their timber-based buildings can be up to 30 stories high and can be used in commercial, residential or mixed-use buildings. The potential benefits of using CREE system includes saving 25% of the costs, 50% of construction time, 40% of materials use and reduce 80% of CO2 emission. Currently, they are operating mostly in Europe and in Singapore (Eunoia Junior College in Singapore and in Japan, see also reference projects, business partners in Asia wanted.
Grander Water Technology:
Hong Kong exhibitor Full Comfort Technology (Group) , booth 1B-E25, will be presenting the eco-friendly Austrian Grander Water Technology and will also give on October 28 at 4.30 pm at the Green Platform in Hall 1 B a product demo.
VWMs GmbH - Vienna Water Monitoring Solutions:
Hong Kong company Guyline Asia is promoting a water quality monitoring technology from its Austrian partner VWMs GmbH - Vienna Water Monitoring Solutions. VWMS offers with the ColiMinder a fully automated measurement system performing rapid microbiological on-line measurements. Microbiological contamination measurement is available in real-time, enabling increase in efficiency & safety of water treatment processes. Pilot installation already in Hong Kong and other parts of Asia.
European Technology for Asia:
The Hong Kong SAR Government has pledged to reach carbon neutrality by 2050, whilst Mainland China is aiming to reach net zero carbon by 2060. Such clear targets set out by governments make it very important to look at and to adopt proven international solutions as well. Austrian and European companies have come up with innovative products and solutions to cope with Europe’s strict environmental policy goals and their green tech experience could also be vital for Asia.
