The Austrian Institute of Technology (AIT) https://www.ait.ac.at/en/about-the-ait/ is Austria’s largest Research and Technology Organisation and an international key player in many of the research areas they cover. The research is concentrated in the fields of digital safety & security, energy, health & bioresoures, innovation systems & policy, low-emission transport, mobility systems, technology experience, vision/automation & control. AIT recently opened a “City Intelligence Lab” and aims to become an international model for the urban planning processes of the future.
