Eight Austrian later-stage startups are looking for partners and feedback from Hong Kong and Asia. The innovators went from November 8 to 17, 2023 through an intense acceleration programme. The Austrian participants had the chance to visit the StartmeupHK Festival, one of Asia’s leading startup and innovation events. A highlight was on November 15 in the evening another “Austrian – Hong Kong Startup Nite” at which the innovators pitched their products and services to potential investors and partners. The programme concluded a two-day breakout session in Shenzhen.

PropXX offers a PropTech software which combines tools such as 3D digital twins of construction projects as well as virtual buildings for real estate development. - roofSec GmbH: Fully Automated Flat Roof Monitoring and Leak Detection System
roofSec is a fully automatic system for B2B customers that uses AI assistance to monitor flat roofs, detect and localize leaks as well as report moisture ingress. - SAPHENUS: The Feeling Prosthesis – A Bionic Feedback System for Amputees
SURALIS by Saphenus can non-invasively transform leg prostheses into feeling prostheses, which can reduce phantom pain in the wearer. - silana GmbH: Automating the Fashion Production
silana is developing a robot to automate the entire textile manufacturing process, from fabric to finished product. - Web Value /Valutico: Leading Business Valuation Software
Valutico provides an equity valuation SaaS for the valuation of private companies and private markets, made for financial professional users.
The programme was organized by ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Hong Kong, ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Guangzhou and the Global Incubator Network Austria (GIN) in partnership with various partners in the region including the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, InvestHK, the law firm Ravenscroft & Schmierer, the accelerator BRINC and WHub.
