Austria is not only a famous destination for tourism and winter sports but also the origin of many cutting-edge technologies in the tourism and winter sports industries. At two tourism and winter sports events in Chengdu organized by the Austrian Consulate General in Chengdu, the Austrian National Tourism Office and ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Chengdu, a diverse group of Austrian enterprises exhibited their products and technologies to the local audience.
The curious guests were able to see for themselves high-quality skis from brands such as HEAD, ATOMIC and Blizzard and gained insights into cutting-edge technologies such as those from AST, Axess, Doppelmayr and Wintersteiger. With tastings of Julius Meinl coffee and baked goods provided by the company Backaldrin, the guests were even able to taste some of Austria’s high-quality products.
The team of ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Chengdu is pleased to see that the region of Southwest China is increasingly becoming a focus of the (Austrian) winter sports industry and will continue to explore cooperation potentials.
