Exploring Opportunities in China's Outdoor Sports Industry (Webinar)

listen

Did you know that nearly 70% of China’s landscape is comprised of mountains (33%), plateaus (26%), and hills (10%)? These diverse geographical features, coupled with rich flora and fauna, provide ideal conditions for tourism and leisure activities. Moreover, the COVID-19 pandemic has significantly boosted the health-consciousness of the Chinese population, drawing more people towards nature. The recent 2022 Winter Olympics have further fueled interest in winter sports among Chinese enthusiasts. With the proliferation of new ski resorts, another exciting prospect emerges—the year-round utilization of resorts for outdoor sports activities such as hiking, climbing, mountain biking, and more.

Seizing the Opportunity:

For the first time, there’s a proposal to promote outdoor sports activities and support projects that align with the sustainable use of natural resources.
