After almost 4 years, due to the Covid-related break, ADVANTAGE AUSTRIA Beijing, also responsible for Mongolia, organized an Austrian Trade Mission to the Mongolian capital, Ulaanbaatar. And this year was a special one, as Austria and Mongolia are celebrating the 60th anniversary since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
Nestled between Russia and China lies Mongolia, one of the largest landlocked states and the most sparsely populated country in the world with only 2 inhabitants per km2. The state in the Far East not only offers beautiful, pristine nature, but also numerous business opportunities that arise from the country's efforts to diversify its economy. Especially in the field of agriculture and food processing, infrastructure, waste & water treatment, traffic management, green-tech, health infrastructure, tourism, digitalization, education and not to forget their main sector the mining industry.
