Hong Kong’s airport just got a digital twin, powered by Austrian innovation. Austrian Riegl 3d laser mapping technology was used to acquire the necessary high resolution LiDAR and image data for the purposes of building a Digital Twin.
GEO1, a RIEGL U.S .customer, got a contract from Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) to acquire high resolution LiDAR and image data for the purposes of building a Digital Twin of the airport. They used Austrian RIEGL LiDAR technology for the necessary survey and mapping.
