Among the key engagements were visits to Primetals Technologies India, recognized for its expertise in engineering and plant construction, and Münzer Bioindustrie GmbH, a company focused on bioenergy and circular economy solutions.
The delegation also visited the Atal Setu Sea Bridge, showcasing Austrian COMMEND technology integrated into one of India’s landmark infrastructure projects.
Further discussions took place at the Jawaharlal Nehru Port Authority (JNPA), India’s premier logistics and maritime gateway, where opportunities for cooperation in trade, transport, and supply chain development were explored.
The programme additionally included a visit to the Blum India showroom, highlighting Austrian innovation and design excellence in the interiors and fittings sector.
On the institutional front, Austrian representatives held strategic discussions with the Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA), Maharashtra Industry, Trade and Investment Facilitation Cell (MAITRI), Shapoorji Pallonji, and the Adani Group.
The mission underscored Mumbai’s importance as one of India’s leading economic centres and a strategic gateway for Austrian businesses seeking to enter and expand within the Indian market.
